Live Trainer: play against the blueprint
The Live Trainer deals hands at a table where every other seat plays the loaded blueprint's strategy with the cards it holds. You play one seat; the solver judges each of your decisions.
Three modes
- Play: decide first; after each decision the trainer shows the solver's mix for your hand, the EV of every action and what your choice gave up.
- Study: the same hand with the solver's strategy, EV and the ranges in view while you decide.
- Replay: step through a real hand history, imported in the Hands tab or pasted, with the solver's view of every decision that maps onto the blueprint's tree.
Dealing, pausing, stepping
- Nothing is dealt until you press New hand. Hero seat is a fixed position or Rotate; Board is random or picked on a card picker.
- The other seats act at the Speed you set. Pause (or the P key) holds them and the board; Step then plays one action at a time; Resume plays on.
- Analyze opens the spot in the Strategy tab; Recalculate re-solves it exactly with the engine, and the hand stays where it is. Where the blueprint stores no strategy (a preflop-only file), the trainer says so and offers the re-solve.
- Session keeps your result, decisions and the EV you gave up; Reset starts a new session.
Note
The opponents play the blueprint, an approximation of equilibrium for the configured game, not a model of any player pool. Its postflop EVs are estimates (see Blueprint postflop EVs are approximate); Recalculate gives the exact values for a spot.
