Live Trainer: play the strategy, hand by hand
Sit at a table where every other seat plays the solver's strategy with the cards it holds. Every decision you make is graded in big blinds of EV against that strategy, for the exact hand you hold, the moment you make it.
Three ways to train
| Mode | What you do | What you see |
|---|---|---|
| Play | Decide first, at your seat or a rotating one | The verdict after each decision: the strategy's mix for your hand, the EV of every action and what your choice cost |
| Study | Play the same hands with the answers in view | The mix and the EV of each action on the action buttons, and the range of any seat on the 13×13 grid |
| Replay | Paste a PokerStars or GGPoker hand history and step through it | The solver's view of every decision of the hand; Analyze opens any of them in Strategy |

Graded in EV, not in frequencies
A mixed strategy has no single right answer, so the trainer does not mark a hand wrong for choosing the less frequent action. It compares EVs: the loss of a decision is the EV of the best action for your exact hand minus the EV of the action you took, in big blinds, and the grade scales with the pot.
| Grade | EV loss |
|---|---|
| Best | up to 0.5% of the pot |
| Good | up to 3% of the pot |
| Inaccuracy | up to 8% of the pot |
| Mistake | up to 20% of the pot |
| Blunder | more than 20% of the pot |
The session panel adds it up: decisions, EV lost in big blinds and the average loss per decision, so a session reads as a number, not as a feeling.
Ranges at every seat
Click any seat at the table to see its range at that point of the hand: what the button still holds after it called the flop, what the big blind checks with on the turn. For the seat to act, the grid switches between Strategy, EV and Equity views, hand class by hand class.

You set the pace
Nothing is dealt until you press New hand. Pause (key P) holds the other seats and the board; Step plays one action and waits again, so a line can be followed card by card. Speed sets how fast the other seats act. The board can be dealt at random or picked by hand on a card picker, to drill one texture.
Your own hands, solved exactly
In Replay, Recalculate re-solves a heads-up Hold'em hand on your computer: the flop is solved with the hand's own pot, stacks and bet sizes and the strategy's ranges for its preflop line, the hand is then played through the solve, and each of your decisions is judged against it. In Play and Study, Recalculate re-solves the street you are on, so a verdict on a flop, turn or river can be checked against an exact solve.
